(St. Patty’s Nanuq)
I’ve finally started my orientation as a new nurse at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, and it feels good to finally work. In addition, I found a part-time gig as a floral designer at Langohr’s, so I’m staying super busy to say the least, but I’m doing a lot of things I love. I’m currently on the medical floor of the hospital, and it offers a lot of diverse patients and illnesses. In that sense I love the experience and variety of skills, not to mention I’m training under a very patient and kind preceptor (thank you Pam). With that said, I was able to spend one day in the emergency department, and I felt right at home…I really like emergency nursing. I was pretty sure that’s where I wanted to head, but now I’m really sure. I dig it.
(Dad’s St. Patrick’s Day run…not bad for a 60 year old….yeah, he won is division)

(I’m officially 29…one more year ’til the big milestone)
It’s been a pretty standard Bozeman spring, epic snow storms as soon as the resorts close and the most finicky weather know to mankind…rain, snow, sun, and hail all in one day. I’ve learned that there’s no point in getting my hopes up for consistent, nice weather until maybe mid June…and that’s pushing it. Regardless it’s beautiful, and the crap weather makes me feel better about working so much. I don’t feel guilty about working everyday when there’s hail flying out the window. I am hoping that things will chill out a little bit more in the next few weeks so that I may have at least two days off a week….I’d love to have a breather here and there. I’m thinking after Mother’s Day my flower gig won’t need me every day that I’m not at the hospital, and once orientation is over, I’ll have a consistent three-day, 12-hour shift, week. Life will be good.

Thus far it’s been a great spring. I celebrated my 29th birthday (wow), dressed my dog up in St. Patrick’s Day attire, and welcomed my French boyfriend to Bozeman. Now if we could only find the Frenchie another job ( he found a part-time job at Le Chatalaine making chocolate) and a place to rent we’ll be just about perfect. Montana’s summer is just around the corner, and I can’t wait.

Hello,
We see that the weather in Montana is as bad as in France : Rain and cold temperatures during the last month. We are glad that you and David found a job. We hope that you’ll find a home too. Frederique and Didier spent their holidays with us in Corsica. I have a break of 2 weeks and we visit some beautiful places. We would be happy to see you soon, we know that it is not easy when man work. We have the same problem with Ange it’s hard to have holidays together.
Gros bisous CECILE
