The Turquoise Bird

The Turquoise Bird

Jewelry and Design

IMG_0462

Flowers have always made me smile and jewelry is fun to make, therefore The Turquoise Bird was born. The month of May 2006 at the Floral Design Institute in Portland, OR gave me the technical skills to design the flowers I love, while a desire for affordable turquoise earrings led me to designing my own. Floral design and jewelry creation have become wonderful expressions into which I can delve, escaping the stress of the operating room where I work full-time as a circulating RN. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share my creations and design.

Keep an eye out for The Turquoise Bird at Bozeman’s farmers markets this summer. My jewelry will be making its debut at The Gallatin Valley Farmers Market  and the occasional Bogart Park Farmers Market. I have an earring/necklace combo (amasyst and goldstone on sterling silver) up for auction at The Bozeman Deaconess Hospital Foundation Fundraiser this April, so get those fundraiser tickets.
